Mouni Roy has
taken to Twitter to slam a troll who was insinuating that she was harassed by
her Gold director Reema Kagti during the shoot of the film. It all began on
Konkona Sen Sharma's Twitter post where she had shared the open letter about
herself and other female filmmakers coming up together and standing up in
favour of the #MeToo movement.
Commenting on
that a troll, who goes by the name Rachit Mehrotra, had written, "Oh come
on with this hypocrisy!! Reema Kagti has herself been known to sexually harass
@Roymouni during Gold movie! The blinds r all over the net! N she is part of

Mouni couldn't
just take that lying down. She blasted the troll saying, "I was not
harassed on the set of Gold by anyone. Director or otherwise. I wish this
maligning would stop as it not only harassing me and Reema Kagti but also
taking away from women that have truly been wronged. @konkonas
@rachitmehrotra (sic)."

Not just Konkona
and Reema, filmmaker like Meghna Gulzar, Kiran Rao, Zoya Akhtar, Nandita Das
and Shonali Bose have also joined the movement. They all are lending their
support for all the women who have spoken up about having faced sexual
harassment and assault.
